Get It: Bob Revolution

A modern yuppie family has three strollers.

Learn to accept this fact and things get much easier. Yes, it may seem like a lot of money to spend on stroller(s), but hey, kids are expensive. When you think about daycare, college, private school, diapers, food, toys, etc - you realize that spending money on a solid stroller is a great investment.



No one stroller works for all situations.

First, get a universal. These are inexpensive frames that most infant car seats "snap" into quickly and easily. $40 bucks or so, maybe cheaper on craigslist.

Second, you need transport for the mean sidewalks of urban life. My personal favorite, the Bob Revolution is a solid, well-built machine that you could throw off a building and would survive the fall. While I don't recommend throwing it off a building, be prepared for a stroller to take a licking and this one can. We've had the BOB Revolution for 9 months and without a doubt this has been one of the best purchases we've made.

Cons:
Heavy, Large - difficult to navigate stores
Expensive - $380 ~ or so..
